Tim witherspoon with Donking promotion, when he fight Frank Bruno in england for HW championship he only got $90k while bruno the loser got $900k.

DonKing spread four contracts for Witherspoon,
1. promotional contracts with DON KING for 50% fee of what witherspoon earning
2. Managerial contracts with Carl king (donking son), Carl king got 50% of Witherspoon earning after Donking promotional Fee.

These two is ilegal because the maximum for promotional fee is 33%, but King got around that by making witherspoon sign
3.the third contract for 33% fee which would be filed to State boxing commition. and
4. finally the fourth contract which was totally blank.

and now you all maybe asking why witherspoon agree to sign those contracts?! the reason is King with his connection made Boxing commitee suspend Witherspoon license and with all the top 10 HW at that time sign with king witherspoon has no choice. Don king even prevented Wutherspoon to have a lawyer, he said " if you wanna do that (have a lawyer), dont bother come at all".

That's why i always feel the 80's is the worst HW era of all time, sure there're names like Holmes or Tyson, but majority of HW is controlled by Donking. he can easily manipulate ranking, fight or boxing commisioner.
