When Alvarez starts ripping the combinations i don't see how Cotto's skin will hold up.

Beautiful combos, but only a fat Josesito Lopez and a zombie Angulo were destroyed by those combinations. Cotto has a great footwork. This would be a competitive fight.

Back and forth fight but Canelo ends up hurting Cotto several times en route to a majority decision win.

I think it's close.

Cotto has been looking very good. His stamina seems improved enough to benefit his entire game. On the other hand, his opposition has not ended up being what I thought it would be...

Canelo is very good as well. He is fast and skilled and somewhat slippery at times. His stamina seems slightly improved over the last couple of years and I think he's learned much being in with some very good opposition.

I am a fan of both fighters, but having been a Cotto fan longer, you will see me rooting for him in this fight.
