Re-hydrating to your normal weight doesn't mean you are healthy. Draining to make weight takes months and weeks if you are really struggling to make a certain weight. A big set of meals and a day's rest doesn't fix that entire ordeal of starving your body and burning all those calories.

Dude, Cotto is a small middleweight. Started his career at 140. Wasn't his martinez fight at a catchweight? My point is Cotto is not going to be weight drain when he is in the ring. It might benefit Alvarez more obviously since he is bigger but Cotto won't be a walking corpse come fight night.

be best for boxing if canelo wins, best for me if cotto wins but i just don't see how cotto can keep canelo off him for a full 12. in any case, one thing is for damn sure, this fight is the best to be made, competitive wise.

That's exactly who I was referring to was Canelo... I didn't even mention Cotto in my post.

Even at this stage, Cotto has enough to beat Canelo. Cotto is still damn quick, hits hard enough and can move well. Canelo would make it fun but Cotto ends up winning a wide decision.
