If Canelo tires like he tends to do, it could open up the door for Clottey to steal some rounds. Joshua is a solid fighter, but he gets into his shell and lets fighters tee off on him. Nelo's flurries will look extra special against Clottey's defense. Even if they don't land effectively, the judges and crowd are going to eat it up.

Clottey is one of the best fighters to come out of ghana in the last 30 years or so...he was beating margacheato in their fight until he broke his hand...he put an absolute beating on chico ( very sad), he fought so competitive with cotto that alot of people felt he should have got the nod...he choked in the pac fight but you wouldnt be able to tell that, just by looking at pacs face..then he sord of just dissapeared resurfaced and whooped mundine.

Clottey will be competitive with canelo there is no doubt and to be honest i really like the fight. I dont think its a tuneup fight in any way... canelo better be prepared its going to be a rough fight especially going down the stretch.

Exactly. People still sleeping on clottey. I think that if canelo doesn't hurt him, clottey will be more offensive. I also think that this is a more comfortable weight for him compared to 147 lbs.

This seems like a stay-bust fight for Canelo... Clottey will just cover up and let Canelo look like a monster... Canelo certainly isn't going to face GGG in December or anyone that hurts his chances against getting the Cotto fight next year

clottey shouldn't show his face in boxing after what he didn't do in the pacquiao fight. anyone can stand in the ring and be a punching bag. What a disgrace to his country he is.
