Canelo is vastly overrated. I am beginning to hate him because it was his age and hair that got him love. However his boxing ability hasn't improved.

Continuously winning fights he was either expected to struggle in (Angulo) or in many people's opinion lose (Lara, Trout) tells me the opposite. Canelo is the goods, think he has improved slightly in that he targets the body more against moving targets, and I think he'll continue to grow as a fighter as well.

Canelo's on the same level as Austin Trout and Erislandy Lara IMO, good fighters, nothing special. I had the Canelo/Trout fight a draw and i had Lara edging Canelo by 1 point in their fight.

Had Canelo beating Lara by a point, Canelo beating Trout 8-4+KD, didn't think that was close at all.

The 154 version of Oscar that fought the roided versions of both Vargas and Sugar Shane Mosley destroys Canelo! And that was an already part-time fighter version of De La Hoya.

Oscar is underrated around these parts!

              Oscar..........

Oscar was an A Level fighter. Canelo at this present time is a B Level fighter. He is improving and is good for the sport. He WANTS to be great and fears no one. This is what boxing used to be all about. Props to the kid. I am a fan.

I'll admit I'm biased because I grew up on Oscar but I can't see Canelo having any chance in this matchup.

Floyd and Lara proved that Canelo struggles with boxers. If he can't find you, he's going to have trouble. Oscar wouldn't run, but he would certainly pick his spots. Canelo would win some rounds though. 8-4, or 9-3 for ODH.

Oscar was big and very fit at 154, with May sr in the corner Oscar TKO canelo at 11 or 12
