Canelo would absolutely brutalise Maidana. The fight would be stopped within 6.

Interesing fight. This fight would go 12. Both can hit and can take a hit. Canelo is not as good as the most people say and Maidana is not as bad as most people say. Canelo has skills but the right gameplan will work against him. Same for Maidana. It will be a close fight if it happens. One big factor is definitely the weight.
I actually think Maidana's body still has potential at 147, that's why I think the fight won't happen. He doesn't look ripped, doesn't look lean at 147.
