It is not like they don't work together on other spots, CBS/Showtime brought in Time Warner Sports TBS/TNT to show all the games for March Madness.

The problem is HBO sports is not close to the rest of the sports organization and has a very insular mindset. CBS seems to be a much more integrated with Showtime.

How Showtime and HBO deal with each other is one of the major issues in the sport, because if both sides actually worked for the good of the sport it would help things a lot as opposed to constantly going for each others throat.

That is never how it is has been though~ with HBO being the big dog until recently always getting what they wanted you would have hoped that getting to see the other side may change their view on dealing with Showtime but they appear to be doubling down.

You don't even need to sell it. It's the fight the public themselves are begging to give you their money for.
Because Floyd, despite calling himself "Money", is not really all about the money.

He's about protecting his 0 at all costs. That means avoiding guys that are "easy work" if they pose even the smallest threat to his 0.

What would it be like seeing the two Jim... Grey and Lampley commentating biases towards their fighter.

Would they go at it and smack each other out?... hahaha

        Who would win?

Yes, its easy to see why the sides would negotiate to make the fight happen. This doesn't mean they actually have started to negotiate yet.
