Floyd didn't "run" the first fight and still won. I don't get it.

Good for Canelo on his HBO deal, but he is not the pay per view draw he and Oscar seem to think he is.

I believe a fight with Cotto would do good numbers but aside from that, I just don't see it. Not that he's not fun to watch but his opposition is lacking as far as popularity.

Floyd vs Khan or Pac will be better than Canelo vs anybody. They will do good with Cotto or GGG and that's the problem for GBP and the Nelo show. After Cotto who they will surely fight, and GGG who they MIGHT (doubt it) fight, how are they going to keep feeding us the "Canelo is the future" line.. I ask this because Canelo said himself that he is never leaving the class he is in so who will these big fights be against....

The question is....Will Floyd actually fight Pac or Khan?

I truly believe that if it was anyone other than Floyd in the ring that night the fight would have been scored for Maidana. Judges tend to give Floyd more credit than he actually deserves. He can land 2 or 3 love taps and win the round even though his opponent lands more damaging blows. Seems that they give every swing round to Floyd.

I've been saying this for a while. The only fight bigger than Cotto-Canelo, is May-Pac. People in the US don't give two ****s about khan.

You know when Floyd wasn't running, when he was hitting Canelo with those 2 pieces. I like Canelo, but I think he went about this "date" thing the wrong way. What he should've done is demanded a rematch @ 154 for Cinco de Mayo. Instead he's going after Cotto. Cotto is not a bad opponent, but Mayweather has already beat him too. Mayweather should be target #1, for a) he beat that ass already, b) you broke the record for revenue with Mayweather.

Now that Maidana is done with Mayweather, let's see how many people (who thought he was a weak opponent) call him out to fight him.
