That's weak!! Struggling to make 154 and with all the fight opportunities at 160 you would fight a guy who barely weighs in at 144.

Well, if Pac/Canelo can be made (and it can now) does that mean we'll get Mayweather/Cotto on May 5 as well? Which one would sell more and which one would you buy? I'd have to go with May/Cotto because I just see Pac/Canelo as a mismatch, Manny is just much too small.

          GGG is not a draw
          Pac is too small
Chavez is trying to get out of his contract and might sign with Haymon next

So it is really Cotto or regular HBO.
Canelo hasn't brought in the numbers we expected him to do after doing 2.2 mil vs Floyd you are doing 300k and think you can take that date (Cotto also did 300k).

Who would they put on the under card (all of the good Golden Boy fighters are signed with Haymon). What is Floyd's May surprise?
What makes you think Floyd could offer more? And its a pointless rematch. More pointless than a Maidana rematch. First fight was not close, Cotto just won a few rounds. Plus Floyd vs Cotto makes no sense for Cinco de Mayo being that neither are Mexican. Cotto vs Canelo is perfect being that its another Mexico vs Puerto Rico fight

Floyd's big surprise can only be a Pacquaio fight. Is a Cotto fight considered a surprise? And Floyd fighting in NY would be a very underwhelming "surprise".

What was the point of the Maidana fights? He isn't Mexican can either so why would they fight on Cinco de Mayo and Mexican Independence Day?

Good points. Still don't think theres any interest there. Besides the fact that Floyd has ran out of big names. How do they go about selling the rematch? I think Cotto wants to win and a Canelo fight is very winnable.

At least with Canelo vs Pacquiao, its a fight we never seen before and not a retread.

Really? So why did he fight Floyd at 152?

Don't think this fight happens but if he fights Cotto and beats him, Canelo vs GGG would be so huge! And Andre Ward be so bitter! Lol
