LOL, who the fuck cares about Shiming outside of China? And if he is such a big draw then why his sells aren't better in Macao than Floyd's in the USA?

I'd go with something like this:

      1. Pac
      2. Floyd
      3. Canelo
      4. Cotto
      5. Marquez
      6. Chavez Jr
      7. Khan
      8. Broner
Good list. I'd have Wlad in there and Khan out. Broner's an interesting one, he has a smaller fanbase than someone like GGG but probably has greater drawing power.

Broner isn't really a big draw, and certainly is not in the top 8. Look at someone like Froch, he sold out Wembley stadium 80k and did massive PPV numbers.

        Broner can hardly sell 5k.

You do know that Zou Shiming's pro debut was watched by 300 million people right?

Meanwhile Floyd's last 2 fights barely did 1.5 million combined.

That means more people watched Zou's first fight than Floyd's entire career combined.

When you think of the most famous athletes in China, you think Yao Ming and Zou Shiming. And since Yao isn't active anymore and Zou won 2 gold medals (one in China) hes the biggest star athlete in China.

Pacquiao is the biggest in the Phillipines and its not even close.

I don't think Floyd is in the top 50 biggest sports athletes in his own country.

Not with household names like Peyton, Lebron, Kobe, Jeter, Romo, Brees, AP, KD, Blake Griffin, etc

            My list would be

            1. Pacquiao
            2. Zou Shiming
            3. Canelo
            4. Froch
            5. JMM
            6. Cotto
            7. GGG
            8. JCC Jr

To start everyone in the Phillipines which as of 2013 was 98.39 million x2

Add to that all the other people in Asia who are into boxing (Japan, China, Australia, etc) thats probably around another 100 mill conservative

Then factor in the U.K. and USA and Mexico where he is huge in and its probably 20-30 million.

All in all I'd say around 450-500 million conservative

here are the top four. i gets a little hazy after this. these are in order, and frankly i think it's pretty cut and dry.

                      floyd
                      manny
                      klitschko
                      canelo

then it's probably cotto. froch may very well be next, at least if you go off of the groves fight and rematch. i'd have to think about it some.
