It's not a big loss for SHO. Canelo is a limited fighter who either beats down on WWs or is made to look average vs. guys his size. For such a revered fighter, I really can't remember the last time Canelo was in an exciting fight.

Lmao come on. You think they were worried about losing a talent or a major star. He is the third biggest star in boxing right now and #1 and #2 have maybe 5 fights left between the both of them. Regardless of how you view his skills he is almost universally recognized as the next big attraction in boxing

What a ****** phukkin' response. Canelo is wildly popular win or lose. You hang out in support for the Pimps on SHO (Floyd, Espinoza, Ellerbe, Haymon & The limo driver Schaefer). They put together the most putrid fight cards in Boxing this year and you bought it. And if you think Haymon will start next year aligning all his hookers up against one another, think again. He could have done that with Garcia & Peterson; he brought you Salka & Santana instead. its looked like that all year and for good reason. Safe trips to the bank each time for his hookers, and he gets paid on each trip. That's his M.O. And the public will snap in backlash next year when you see him not change one thing from what he gave you in '14. This is his money game. And Espinoza will stand there in the line of fire selling you "the strongest, deepest boxing card of the year", until SHO steps in and fires Espinoza's azz. Floyd's camp of fighters are a joke.

Good luck with SHO. Canelo -Cotto will be a massive gate. The winner will get Gennady, and again, exciting fights the public wants to see. This isn't about comparing Canelo to Floyd. Oscar is a being a G right now, he brought Espinoza & Schaefer to GBP. He launched the 3 biggest PPV attractions we have (Floyd, Pac, Canelo). Without him Floyd & Pac would still be doing 500k buys. Al Haymon wouldn't have that big stable if it weren't for the platform that Oscar provided him. He started it so he can finish it too, these clowns thought they were gonna jack his **** and the Golden Boy would just lay down. Smh.

I am not shocked that Oscar would renege on an agreement. He has a history of doing that. I am sure he used the verbal agreement with Showtime as leverage to make a deal with HBO. This type of behavior will eventually come back to bite him in the a..ss!!!!!
