  • Comments Thread For: Bradley-Chaves Event Date Approved By The NSAC

A minor hurdle has been cleared for Top Rank to continue to pursue a potential welterweight between Tim Bradley and Diego Chavez. The Las Vegas-based company was granted permission to stage the event—targeted for December 13 at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas—by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The motion was unanimously approved by the commission during their monthly agenda hearing held Tuesday morning in Las Vegas. If the bout can be made, it will likely headline on HBO.

                Good fight.

Skill wise Chaves is very good, I'm not sure about his toughness and heart, but he's talented.

Bradley wins this one by UD. 9-3 or 8-4.

Bad style match up for Chaves. Bradley wins this one clearly.

This could be an ugly, dirty fight. Notice Bradley isn't fighting Thurman.
