Really really hope this happens. Yall think it would be wise to have Barrera take Larios' place then fight Morales in Sept? If Barrera brings it in the rematch, Pac may be in trouble if he has to face Morales in Sept. If Pac whoops Barrera like he did the first time around then it would not be such a big toll on his body and he should be tip top for Morales. It would be better though if he took Morales place in Sept. but that fight is under contract. Morales would have to back down. If not hope Barrera makes the same offer after Pac's commitments are done which would be next year, most likely. But I would rather see Barrera than Morales again. Lets see if Barrera's excuses are as valid as Pacquiao's in his first encounter with Morales.

I think Barrera might be making a huge mistake here. Pacquiao destroyed him last time, and Manny has improved since. I don't think Barrera has improved that much. I think that Pacquiao will give a repeat performance, because he absolutely annihilated MAB. If Barrera even wants to be competitive, he'd better put together an amazing gameplan. If Morales wants more of Pacquiao, he's also making a mistake. Manny figured Erik out midway through the rematch, and dominated from that point forward. Morales is running out of gas, and if Barrera fights Pacman again, he'll be in the same boat as his arch-nemesis "El Terrible". I have tons of respect for Barrera and Morales, but Pacquiao will dominate the Super Featherweight division for years to come.

Yes at this point in time I would rather see Barerra fight Pac than Morales.

But Pac fighting both Barerra and Morales (X2) all in 2 double 0 six!

        This is dreamy

Yep I agree. Pacquiao is just a horrible style matchup for Barrera. I would pick this Pacquiao to stop Barrera again, unless Marco has one last trick up his sleeve. I'd pick Pacquiao to stop Barrera at any point in their careers in fact.

I can understand Larios backing out, but at the same time, I don't blame Manny for wanting to fight in his homeland. He's worked very hard to get to this point in his career, and he wants to reward his fans by fighting in front of them. Larios is a victim of circumstance here, but I don't think he could beat Pacquiao anyway. So it could be a blessing in disguise.

Styles doesn't make fights ******. I thought at this time you got that off your empty head dude. Styles make fights applies only to noobs and B-level fighters.

Against PAC, any style will be destroyed against PAC. He has proven that and come next time. Barrera will be running home with a splattered brain. lol! I hope not, just joking there.

But for all intents and purposes, it might well be.

im glad this fight looks like its finally happening, im one of barreras biggest fans and after nearly waiting 3 years for him to fight pacman again made me perhaps doubt him a bit. one thing i will never do though is write off barrera in this rematch, if anyone can pull out a win as an underdog, its barrera, he has shocked us so many times and i would not rule out a win for barrera when they fight again. hes gotta bring his A game though because pacman aint no joke, i couldnt even see barrera KO'ing pacman, if he wins it will be on points i think.

in my opinion, barrera has got to have this fight with pacman soon, i mean its no secret he wanted to go to 135lbs to try an be the first mexican to win titles in 4 weight classes, if he moves up to 135 lbs i couldnt see him coming back to 130lbs, i mean that would mess up his body, weve all seen whats happend to to roy jones after going back down in weight, moseley aint the same fighter either. in my opinion, barrera should fight pacman at 130lbs, once and for all to see if his excuses were valid, then go up to 135lbs and end his career their and try and get that fight with chavez next year, hopefully chavez's arm would have healed. he would have potentially good fights at 135lbs with people like frietas, zaheer raheem and possibly even corrales at 135lbs before he retires.
