Floyd really wasn't ALL THAT GREAT in his prime. He looked good because he chose his opponents wisely, dodging real threats in their primes, making all kinds of excuses and demands, even RETIRING to AVOID certain prime fighters. Only to return after said opponents had gone through wars and start to appear in decline.

THERE IS A REASON WHY HE HAS AVOIDED PAC FOR YEARS.
ONLY BLIND FANBOYS CAN'T SEE IT.

Even IF he does eventually fight PAC, he dodged him in his prime and for YEARS afterwards.
