The fuss is styles make fights, and Khans style is deemed to give Mayweather fits by a lot of boxing analysts.

As for Pacquiao, people will get an action packed fight between two good (one great) boxers.

No way... I picked khan to win, but collazo is very capable of beating someone chinny like Amir...
Collazo has basically made a career out of giving "name" fighters very tough fights.. Many people feel he should be 3-0 vs Berto, Ortiz, hatton... Collazo is no slouch.. It wasn't crazy to think he could beat khan, especially how khan had looked since the Garcia loss.

His best win was collazo which was a good showing over a tough top level gatekeeper in your welter debut.. Look what collazo did to hatton Berto, and Ortiz, collazo was very capable of beating khan, and Amir pretty much dominated him..

Not saying that's a great win, but solid and his best in the last few years.. Def better than Diaz and Molina.
          Thing is

          Berto fight was in 2009
          Hatton fight was in 2006
Ortiz was on a 2 ko losing streak and hadnt fought in 2 years

Since 2011, Khan has been blatantly ducked by Tim Bradley. Got screwed out of his titles in Washington DC and hit repeatedly by a man who was juiced off his ****. Scheduled a rematch with said man who failed another drug test. Took an ill-advised fight against Danny Garcia after over-training for several months in preparation for PEDerson and got knocked out.

He deserves a bit of good fortune I'd say.

Doesn't matter,, collazo has shown he is a capable fighter..

Like I said before, it's not a great career defining win or anything close.. It's just a solid win in your welter debut, similar to when Floyd went to 140 and debuted vs Corley, maybe not as good as that but similar..

It's khan's best win in the last few years... Does it warrant a Floyd/manny fight- no, but khan isn't getting those fights based on a collazo win, he will get it because he is a huge star and brings attention...

To get a manny/Floyd fight you need to either
1 come off a big win ie algieri, Ortiz, ghost, Maidana
2 or bring a boatload of fans, eyeballs, press, and money ie cotto, Shane, canelo

                Khan is option 2

Did he not duck Alexander?? should have taken that fight to make himself relevant...all i got from your post is excuses for someone who does not want to earn a big fight

so, if floyd tells amir to jump from a bridge he would do it? you guys love to point a others when they put "excuses" for their favorites fighters but this one is the worst of all, "he doesn't take a fight because floyd says he is gonna fight him next"

Collazo is close to a slouch at this point. Hatton and Berto were a long time ago, and Ortiz was coming off three straight losses or some ****, who cares that he quit again?

It was crazy. People were, and apparently still are, thinking of Collazo as he used to be and not what he is now. That and people still think way too freaking much of Victor Ortiz.
