Dropped welterweight and had only two fights at 154 before having his first fight at 160 with hopkins. To be honest, I thought hopkins would have done alot better because trinidad was basically moving up to middleweight from welterweight. And the headbutts didnt help trinidad either.
His first fight at 160 was against William Joppy who he demolished in 5 rds. When did you start watching boxing?

      Missing the point here..........

You are missing his point. Hopkins is a cherry picker as well. His claim to fame was defeating smaller, respected, HOF'mers like Trinidad and De La Hoya. When he fought a fighter his size in JT, he struggled. Hopkin's fights to survive. He holds way to much and is overrated. I never liked him.

I will only be convinced Floyd is not a wussy if I will see him atop the ring with Pacquiao.
Pacs jump style plays right into floyds lead right or his check hook. Once floyd gets his timing down the fight is over and pac and roach are unable to make in fight adjustments thats why every betting house had floyd a 3 to 1 fav at the lowest some were much higher. And when floyd wipes the floor with pac you will cry pac was too old and lost a few steps.

Guys kill me with the cherry picking claims. How is bhop a c.p.? If he didn't fight tito you would claim he ducked tito. He fought the magic man who was a heavy weight and beat him twice!!!!! This is why its hard to pick against b hop or floyd. They are true tacticians that can adjust to any style. B hop was a underdog vs tito and the magic man. The only question going into the pavlic fight was would kelly beat him by ko or ud. But he completely outclassed kelly and ruined him. Its ok to like or not like a fighter but give him his earned credit.

Thats the same thing I said. How can you call canelo a c.p. but pac is fighting little rios and now little aligitydigity? There plenty of true welterweight men he could fight but they continue to pick these pathetic matches that only hurt pacs credibility. His own fans boycotted his last fight. Pac will never fight canelo and arum is pulling the fans leg by saying pac will fight swift. They will never put pac in with swift. Pac only fights top rank stablemates. He completely ducks any type of threat. He could have at least fought zab judah, but zab is still far too much of a threat for roach. Roach and arum know floyd will beat pac. The only ones that think pac has a chance is pacs hard core fans.

                Hmmmm......

Let's dig a deeper shall we? You can't just "watch" a fight without knowing what's going on behind the scenes, man. These factors are almost as important as the fights we watch. Tarver was drained against Hopkin's. He had just finished shooting Rocky and had to lose muscle. Pavlik was too small, too drunk, and disinterested in boxing at the time. It was a good pay day for him. Hopkin's dirty tactics cut Winky in the first round and Winky was too little as well. Hopkin's is HUGE and cheated on the scales for years. Did you know that? Anyway, the same thing happened when Roy fought Tarver the first time. He gained so much muscle against Ruiz, that when he signed to fight Tarver, he lost muscle to get back to light heavyweight. He was drained as well. Canelo was drained against Floyd. Cotto was drained against Manny. Cheeto was drained against Mosley. Trinidad was drained against Wright. I could go on and on. He avoided Dawson for a few years and is avoiding Ward right now as well. I give him credit for longevity but let's not get carried away here. He only takes fights he has advantages in like Floyd. He is in for a surprise come November though.
