Watch any fight with Roberto Duran from the 1970s or 1990s. He could stand right in front of a fighter and make him miss just enough to counter them with accuracy and power. Not a typical defensive fighter since he was more aggressive than most which I think makes him even more exceptional. He also knew how to roll his head with punches he could see coming. Also his positioning close to opponents zapped a lot of the power they would have enjoyed from the outside. He truly was a master in many ways offensively, but his career was special because of his amazing defense to go along with his aggressive style. A freak of nature really and a master technician.

Hopkins rarely takes punishment. His chin is always tucked and he holds if hes in a bad position.

Rigondeaux is also very good defensively
