I want to see this fight happen. Anthony Dirrell can beat Groves, Bika was a more difficult foe.

If they offer Dirrell good money to go overseas he should consider it. Unless he can get a better offer to do it here in the States.

I think they either will have an agreement or Haymon will win the pursue like in the case of Brook-Porter. Sauerland is ain't no Roc Nation they won't offer a ridiculosuly big amount of money for the fight IMO Haymon will win the pursue without breaking a sweat and the fight will be somewhere in USA, maybe in Cali or in the MGM as an udercard for a big event.
lol, Sauerland were promoting fights when Al Haymon was cozing with MC Hammer. They've got the money, but that's not the issue.

Does Al Haymon believe in him enough? Who's his promoter? Is he still with Gary Shaw or is he riding with SMS or what?

Either way, I doubt Showtime really sees much in him, and certainly not enough to back him more than what Sky would back Groves, considering the potential massive fighters there would be for Groves should he win a world title.

So I honestly think if it goes to Purses, then Groves would easily have the upperhand.

That's totally whatever. Haymon has more money I guess it's clear and we can say it for sure. If it will comes to pursue bid I don't wait from Sauerland that they will offer a similar amount of money what Jay-Z offered for the Quillin-Korobov fight and in the case of Quillin-Korobov Haymon didn't allow it because he has other "big" (Although I doubt it would sell that good) plans with Quillin, namely a Quillin-Jacobs fight. What are his plans with Dirrell? He won't fight with his bro, Ward has issues and fights on HBO, Chavez Jr. has issues as well (even if he solves them he will fight against Froch first) so since there isn't any other lucrative Haymon opponent in the horizon of Dirrell (Haymon) I doubt that there will be a serious wattle to make this fight in the USA. I also don't think that they will be afraid of Groves, especially because Dirrel just beat an argueably better and harder opponent than Groves and Groves looked mediocrein his last fight. And that's either almost whatever that Showtime what sees in him since Espinoza is GBP's/Haymon's employee who will take any fight what Haymon gives him.
So I think if it will comes to pursue bid, the fight will take place in the USA.
