What is the difference between swarmer and boxer-puncher?

boxer punchers are skilled boxers with power and good offense.

boxer-punchers = trinidad, de la hoya, barrera

swarmers = margarito, castillo, chavez

I would put Margarito, castillo and chavez in the category of sluggers

Boxer-puncher isn't as active, but they look to cause serious damage when they do throw.. They set up the shots behind the jab or off of movement.. Probably alittle more accurate with each punch having a purpose/reason

Swarmer = pressure fighter. They cut the ring off and relentlessly throw.

Boxer-puncher = basically a boxer with power and a more offensive mindset than a pure boxer. They are usually versatile and can fight on the backfoot or frontfoot and have good all-round ability.

Examples of active boxer-punchers - Thurman, Canelo, Haye
