If Groves beats Dirrel I'd kinda be up for a third fight. It's a good a rivalry, the build up would be great and it would be hilarious if Groves got knocked out again.

      1. Pac didn't beat JMM 3 times, not even officially. First fight was scored a draw. Fights 1 & 2 were scored in Pac's favor. . Pac never stopped JMM like Froch stopped Groves. Pacquiao never convincingly defeated jmm.
Pac beat JMM twice on the scorecards. Are we to believe winning on points isn't important, only kos are important? Floyd didn't ko Maidana and they were close so should Floyd rematch Maidana until he kos Maidana?

But anyway I suppose you agree Froch shouldn't give Groves a rematch.

Groves needs to sit the **** down. You got stopped twice for crying out loud.

Another poor comparison. Yes the first Mayweather vs Maidana fight was close and the decision was somewhat controversial, but Mayweather beat Maidana definitively in the rematch. The same cannot be said about Pacquiao in any of his fights with JMM. Froch beat Groves convincingly in the rematch, Mayweather beat Maidana convincingly in the rematch, Pac beat Bradley convincingly in the rematch, however Pac never beat jmm convincingly despite the judges scorecards.

Froch should face Chavez Jr. in Vegas.

Groves and DeGale could fight again and winner gets Froch, but that's a bit too risky for both of their careers at this time I think.

By now Carl is George's father. George better be careful with how he speaks to his dad.

Maybe a three-peat would amuse some of the British crowds but it would be an unimportant and ultimately pointless fight in general boxing terms. As much as I'm not a big fan of Froch's personality, he's a better boxing than Groves and proved that twice already. Of course, Froch will always be second best to Ward and Groves not on that level. At LHW, they would be further down the list.
