WASHINGTON, D.C. — Jeff Lacy was supposed to fight Rayco Saunders on a card Saturday night at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. But then it was announced that another bout preceding it would be the last of the evening. That bout ended, and Lacy was left angered and still waiting to fight.

He walked to the ring, gloves on his hands, and proceeded to step into the squared circle — even as it was being taken apart, all while some fans walked out of the building and others remained in the room, drawn to the spectacle despite event staff ordering them to leave.

So thru all the prelims, behind the scenes there was all this arguing, fighting, threats, finger pointing we can imagine between facility management, promoters, managers, etc... What a mess. What a blow to fans.

Na I missed that article sounds crazy though,I could imagine it being some funny sshhtt ,imagine you weigh in the other dude is your size ,come fight night all of a sudden that dude is taller ,bigger ,stronger ,that's some fuuny sshhtt.

Poor lacy man, I will be pissed as hell that means the promoters played him like a sucker and stringed him along for no reason. Promoters didnt cut the check to the commision so the commission couldent cut the check to the fighters and heres the kicker the promoters knew they didnt and still let lacy suit up and glove up.
