Ten Welterweghts who would Topple Pacquiao

    1. Sugar Ray Robinson- Robinson would have worn Pacman down and probably gotten a late round knockout. Would be very exciting to watch.
    2. Henry Armstrong- Armstrong's power would tell in the end and Pacman would fade to the naturally stronger man.
    3. Thomas Hearns- The Hitman would catch Pacman with a thunderous right which would be too much. Probably would not last long.
    4. Roberto Duran- Even Freddie Roach said Pacman would not beat Duran and he's right. Duran proved against Hagler that southpaws were no problem for him. The fight could have gone either way even though Duran was fighting way above his natural weight against a prime Hagler.
    5. Carmen Basilio- Basilio would have plenty of problems with Pacquiao but I think he would overwhelm him down the stretch of a close contest.
    6. Pipino Cuevas- This one obviously would not go to the cards. It's pretty much who would catch who but I think Cuevas could take Pacman's punches before Pacquiao could take his. The man broke eye sockets for goodness sakes!
    7. Kid Gavilan- Gavilan's boxing skill and superior infighting would lead him to a close decision victory in a real war.
    8. Sugar Ray Leonard- I think Leonard's speed and ring generalship would earn him a close decision in an action-packed fight.
    9. Carlos Palomino-Palomino's body punching would be the key, but Pacquioa would have several moments here. I think Palomino wins a decision as Pacman fades late in the fight.
    10. Emile Griffith- Griffith's all around boxing skills and defensive abilities would guide him to a decision of a thrilling fight.

Cool story. Historically many fighters would beat Pacman not just ten, he isn't that high if you rank him all time, fighters who would beat him right now in the division is a more interesting conversation than fantasy fights since Pacman is technically poor, and thus loses most of his fantasty fights unless you are a nuthugger.

Right now, Floyd and Maidana both stop Manny in the division.

Maidana might have a chance. Floyd doesn't look too good right now, he looks old and he's missing a tooth.

Current Manny would beat current old man Floyd

i only agree with the sugar rays beating pacman, cause pacman is faster than the rest of them and can awkwardly land punches on all type of defense. Also it depends on which duran would show up to fight.

Agreed. The Maidana in Mayweather vs. Maidana II would never beat Pac. He looked too clumsy and didn't have the same mojo from the first fight.

Why come up with 10? Just Juan was needed.

Anyway, no need to bring up ATG WW's for Pac, we saw JMM, a former Featherweight and so called too small for WW almost knocked Pacquiao's head right off at 147lbs.
