A fight is set for a certain distance..if you get ko'd then you lost period..what you did up until then is no longer relevant..you got your **** pushed in and you ****ing lost.....scorecards up to that point mean nothing as they are thrown out the window when you get layed out

People say it because it happens. You can be winning a fight and get knocked out late in a fight ie Mickey Bey, Medlrid Taylor, etc.

It doesn't change the outcome of the fight, but it also doesn't erase what happened prior to the knockout. Since a fighter's career isn't necessarily over after one loss, some of the info might be useful going forward

Please tell me in which Super Bowl, final four, NBA championship or World Series do we care or even know of any team name, that was winning in the first Quarter, or first innings but didn't win....

We only care or remember the winner...sadly sometimes we won't even remember the opponent...lol

theres a difference between getting dominated then getting knocked out and outboxing your opponent before getting knocked out

manny was definitely solving the marquez puzzle before tripping over his foot and into the shot

If that was the case, I'd just check the box score to see who won.

So you can't remember a single fight or game 7 or Super Bowl that was a classic? How much fun could that be
