Algieri has the height and reach advantage and can box. He has a chance to win if he can jab and run for Pacquiao and not get hit.

This will be a weird fight. Only guy pacs fought with the size of algieri is margarito and dlh. And both those guys were way older slower and less mobile than algieri will be.

I can't see him pulling this off but he's right, if he were to win the landscape does change. He's fighting Manny but isn't tied down to TR as far as I know - that factor alone changes things

I've seen some recent videos on Youtube posted by PhillipineNews1. He sure doesn't look out of shape now.

Chris has no real advantages nov. 22 against PAC . Even if he boxed PAC ears off he'd lose because PAC has the political advantage, so Chris can only win by highly unlikely fluke k.o. and with only 8 K.O's ??? PAC 's worst opponent to date. Arum should be ashame. PPV?

You don't go from fighting nobodies to nearly escaping with a with over Ruslan to fight a guy like Pac. His lack of power and experience on the big stage, to me, has him losing this fight handily. Pac would really have had to lose several steps and just not even train to lose this fight. Anybody got any idea on how Algieri can pull it off?
There are only two ways to beat PAC. #1) An unpredicted monster counter "Power Punch" that can put him asleep (ala Marquez). #2) Clean "Pot Shot" then run, "Pot Shot" again then run. Do it for 12 whole rounds then u'l get a UD nod (ala Mayweather)
