I think Rigondeaux vs. Avalos is gonna happen. The purse bid would have been cancelled otherwise. Caribe Promotions have no idea what they are doing. They will probably stage the fight in Miami, which is a logical move. Rigondeaux may draw a decent crowd over there but who will televise the fight? Caribe has no TV deal so they should consider themselves lucky if ESPN buys it. Telemundo is more likely. These idiots probably never heard about the concept of return on investment.

Why waste everyone's time with a purse bid then? I don't get it. I thought Frampton was gonna make a voluntary defense first. Rigondeaux can't dump Caribe if they have a valid contract. I can't believe they rejected the Frank Warren deal.
