Khan is Floyd's WBC mandatory, and Thurman is Floyd's WBA mandatory. It would seem to be common sense, that Khan vs. Thurman should be done in 2014, and the winner gets Mayweather. If Khan wants someone besides Thurman, then I think he should fight Danny Garcia at 147. The winner of Garcia vs. Khan then would get Mayweather. However, Oscar and Arum have been talking about Pacquiao vs. Garcia, so I still think Thurman is the ticket to a Mayweather fight. One fight that should NOT happen, is Khan vs. Josesito Lopez. That's NO BUENO!

Khan is sharp; don't let your personal feelings get in the way of recognizing that. His chin is just made of paint chips & despite this still is easily baited in slugfest he won't win. As far as beating Floyd? I say hell naw.

I disagree with his self-assessment at the same time I can't call that matchup.

Yeah, Khan Lopez is pointless at this point, win and so what, lose and it's game over. I would love to see Floyd take on Thurman or Garcia, I can't see him taking on any of these young hungry guys though, too risky at such a late stage in his career. but man, any of those two or even Brook would be awesome.

Also, since losing to Peterson and getting KO'd by Garcia, has done nothing of note. Beating Molina, Diaz and a shot Collazo do not warrant anybody a big fight with a superstar.
I agree with everything you said, but you don't honestly think that Peterson loss was legit do you?

STFU already!! I think we already know the fight will happen. Roger or Sr can't keep their mouths shut when it comes to discussing Floyd's opponents in the foreseeable future, and I think they have already hinted that it will be, Khan. It's obvious that Khan is in the exact position be next in line for the fight in May even though he still hasn't done **** to earn it. I'd hate to see this clown be the one to officially give a past prime Floyd his first professional L.

Al Haymon protects all of his fighters, from his cash cow(Floyd), to his future cash cows(Danny Garcia/Thurman), bootleg past prime Mayweather(Broner), and blabbermouth. How about putting Khan against a credible B+ opponent first? If Floyd takes this fight, then I really hope a freak accident happens and they both end up knocking each other out.

I'm more disgusted by some of the Khan fans on here. Unlike Khan, Maidana had a belt and Mayweather-Maidana I made sense at the time. What does Khan brings to the table other than the hopes and dreams of Floyd fighting in the UK, which I highly doubt will ever happen? I'm not a fan of Canelo, but at least he takes a few risky fights. Khan hasn't done anything of relevancy since 2011. The fight would be a waste of time and just as uneventful as Mayweather-Maidana II was.

I know team Pacquiao are bluffing as usual and are using Floyd's name to promote their upcoming fight or vice versa, but I'd really hope Floyd would settle the score once and for all by announcing that he'll fight Manny in May, and a potential farewell rematch in September. Fighting the likes of, Khan, Garcia, Thurman, etc, would be totally pointless, especially when neither of those guys have a belt at 147. I do agree with Manny when he said that Floyd is all talk. I expect him to announce the Khan fight, and then he'll talk about how fighting Manny will not do anything for his legacy, but I'm sure fighting Amir Khan will.
