Anyway, if you think Joe is making the right move by fighting Roy, you're in the dirt. This is a ****** move. Why the hell should RJJ go to Wales first off, and why can't Joe come to the U.S. like he said he was going to do, since he's so bad? RJJ is 37 and WAY past it.

Roy said he might like to fight the winner of Lacy-Joe, and we all know Roy is not the same as he was before. He's willing to do things now (like fight Joe perhaps) that he wasn't willing to do before simply because his value is less. That's why Roy acquiesed to more of Tarver's demands in the final fight of their trilogy. That is evidence enough that Roy is not the same.

Anyway, point is, it doesn't ****ing matter. This is a waste of tme for Joe. Remember that door I talked about Joe opening by beating Lacy? Well, if this fight happens, Joe is NOT walking through that door of oppurtunity, he's taking the Hokins route (what Hops did post-Tito).

We should all hope with any amount of common sense that Roy DOESN"T take this fight.
I specifically state that Frank Warren and Joe Calzaghe need to forget about Roy Jones, right? So we are on the same page.

Now we can argue over where a potential fight should be (I could give a ****) but my point is Roy is all talk at this stage and anything he says should be regarded as garbage.

Sure Joe is no Mike Tyson but there is a couple common similarities to the Tyson v. Jones fight and the Calzaghe v. Jones fights...in both cases Roy has mentioned that he is interested in the fight...thats the first similarity...in both cases Roy has no intentions of making these fights...thats the second similarity.

Who's off their rocker here, me or Roy Jones...hell or both of us?

Roy has zero chance against Calzaghe. Remember Glen Johnson's swarm of punches that had Roy covering up for 8 rounds? Well, Calzaghe will actually be LANDING punches. Roy goes down in 3, guaranteed.

I doubt this fight happens unless Roy gets 70% of the purse. He fights for money now. If he really wanted to resurect his career he should have fought Hopkins.

That goes against the evidence seen when Roy caved in and swallowed his pride to make the 3rd Tarver fight happen. There's no reason to say Roy does or doesn't want to fight Joe. Roy said he might like to do it, and that his interest in boxing waxes and wanes. He's 37 and has lost 3 times in a row. Of course he isn't going to emphatically get involved with Joe Calzaghe.

I doubt this fight happens unless Roy gets 70% of the purse.
Like he asked for vs Tarver, right?
