Maidana vs Matthysse would be a foty ...i like the idea.

JMM is smaller and older, I think Maidana would be able to outwork him.

Pac wins by decision, he loves to fight come forward brawlers.

Maidana vs Danny Garcia would be a good fight.

PS: Khan did already beat Maidana once, I don't understand why everybody thinks he'd get knocked out this time around.

Didn't happen, also he accomplished 2 features Maidana couldn't against the same opposition, so if anything how he could question Garcia's punching power and not Maidana's?

Seriously? JMM and Pac are past their better days, and neither have the pop to keep Maidana off of them.

Marquez is a masterful technician, but he doesn't try to move out of the way of many shots. He sits in the pockets and slips them, but he gets hit a little too much. And at WW where he is not that great, I think it would get ugly in there for him as the fight wore on.

Pac doesn't have the power he once had (Since he stopped getting those shakes). The last time he stopped someone it was 2009 ( and that was a weight drained Cotto). As a matter of fact the only stoppage wins at WW Pac has are a weight drained Cotto and a weight drained DLH. So I'm really not sure why people give him so much credit for his power. Pac had success because he had speed mixed with a herky jerky style where he would give you different angles and throw unorthodox punches. But I see Pac getting dropped as Maidana times him jumping in.

This is great to hear!! I was bit worried... He kind of gave hints of retiring after the Mayweather fights so this is awesome. I am a hardcore Maidana fan for life, I WILL betray some of my fav fighters if I have to. That includes Thurman, Pacquiao, Cotto, Canelo.... NOBODY is safe except Golovkin which thankfully is an impossible fight to make.

WAR CHINOOO BABY!!!!!! TILL THE DAY I D-I-E AND THAT'S NOT L-I-E!! YA DIIIIGGG!! Hahaha! TMT baby, The Maidana Team!! We ready!!! CHINOOOOO!!!!!!

I'd say the opposite is more likely.

Yeah, it sure would. One thing they have in common (besides power) is that they get even tougher after they get dropped or hurt in some way.

At 147? Maidana will whip Garcia.

Not sure if Maidana can still do 140 tho.
