Dude Ortiz, Guerrero and Maidana did nothing but beat 2 Haymon hype jobs to get the Floyd fight. Don't kid yourself. Thurman's combination of speed, power and boxing IQ is enough to merit a Floyd Fight.. He's certainly a better option then Amir Khan.

Berto was ranked no.3 on everyones divisional rankings back in 2011 behind 1)mayweather 2) pacquaio 3) berto..when ortiz moved up to ww and beat the 3rd guy in the division he filled that spot on everyones divisional rankings which entitled him a big fight against floyd..

Pacman has no hope against Mayweather. He's too small and (even more importantly) he's not dedicated to boxing. You can't even begin to mess with Floyd if you're a congressman, a basketball player, a singer, and a Jesus freak. You have to be hungry about one thing only, and that's boxing.

this back-and-forth is getting ridiculous already. At this point, who cares if they fight each other. I sure as hell don't. There are so many other fighters out there to watch, why not pick a new favorite fighter and stfu already. The only people who truly care about this match-up are rabies-infected,anti-mayweather fans who love manny and the idiots who think mayweather is a god and hate manny.

The only way this fight gets made is if and only if, mayweather thinks he can pick manny apart. I'm a huge mayweather fan, and even i know that. Floyd is 37 years old, he's been fighting forever, i truly believe he wants to retire with that "0". Do i hate him for it? No! I like watching him and manny fight, so as long as they keep winning i'm happy. And please i don't want to hear them not fighting one another is bad for the sport, nobody on this website cares about that, they just want to see their guy triumph over the other guy, for one reason and one reason only; the hate they have for each fighter.

Did Mayweather not agree to everything Pac wanted? Mayweather didn't want a cutoff date for testing at all. Roach originally said that he wouldn't allow Pac to be tested within 7 days and if the testing stopped 7 days out then the fight would be made. Mayweather then agreed to stop testing 14 days out and Pac didn't walk, but ran away from the fight.
Pac says he will not only take less money, but because the fans wanted the fight he would fight for free. Then he turns down $40 mil.
I could easily go down the list of all of the ridiculous excuses Pac has made to duck this fight. But I'm sure you already know them all. Don't worry, win, lose, or draw after the Algeri fight Pac won't mention Floyd's name.
