The reason they do not fight is very simple. The losers stock would plummet. There is a "cap" to how many PPV sales they can do. They are not going to generate 20% more sales than the highest grossing fight. And how would you split that purse? May thinks he can take 30mil and leave Pac with the paltry 3mil like he did Maidana? Heck even if those numbers are doubled, it makes zero financial sense to Pac to take the fight.

He wont fight thurman..thurman hasnt done enough yet to get in the money sweepstakes...thurman should fight guerrero,porter, maidana or even brook, he just needs a signature win to put his name out there and make the fans demand a floyd/thurman fight...its not there yet, and by the time thurman becomes a real threat in the division floyd would have already retired from the sport.

Thurman shouldn't have to keep jumping through loops to get a Floyd fight. He's earned his shot at the big names a long time ago.

I think what I am saying is clearly stated in the post you commented on.
Yes I am a fan of Floyd Mayweather (I think I have stated this time and time again). Calling me a FLOYD fan is NOT an INSULT, its actually just a fact, but kudos to you friend. And I wouldn't mind seeing Manny Vs. Floyd , but I truly believe it will not happen and I'm not going to cry over it (like some people do, time and time and then...TIME AGAIN).

And if you can clearly define what "cherry picker" means, then maybe I can decide if that's what Floyd is. And by definition I mean, a clear ,well-thought out, non-bias definition.

Let me ask you a question, thurman beating washed up guys like julio diaz,carlos quintana, soto karrass, and a then unknown chaves, an unknown zavek is enough to get a fight with floyd??
