Froch in the Current 175lb Division

So how well or bad do you guys think Froch would do i nteh current cauldron at light heavy? With guys like Stevenson, Kovalev and Hops? Not to mention old foes in Pascal and some fighters on the rise.

Froch walks around just under the 175lb limit. I don't think it would be a good idea to move up. There's still good matchups against degale, chaves jr or maybe even golovkin to be made.

Froch relies on his natural strength and punch resistance. A move up would negate those attributes, so i don't think it's a sensible idea.

I think Froch's chin will be fine at the weight but yes, he may struggle with power up there but he is far more than just a durable fighter, he has a pretty good jab and by moving up, will be the second most accomplished fighter in the division. I reckon he'd take Pascal again and then Hopkins v Froch here in the UK would be massive!

If he loses to Hopkins that makes him look bad as he always hated Calzaghe and tried to prove he was a better fighter then him especially in trying to beat Kessler in a rematch.

Stevenson was a SMW and I believe was wanting to fight Froch but he got an offer to fight Chad Dawson at LHW and the rest is history

Yep, Froch called him out and said he'd get satisfaction by putting on a beating on against a man who abuses women or something to that effect.
