Both sides agreed to enter into mediation on January 7, 2010, in hopes of coming to an agreement on the blood testing issue. Retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, who successfully resolved a prior dispute between Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, would again act as mediator. Two days later, after hours of negotiating during mediation, Arum declared that the fight was officially off after Mayweather refused to agree to a 24-day cut-off date. Mayweather revealed that he offered a 14-day cut-off date to Team Pacquiao, but it was rejected.

Leonard Ellerbe declared on January 18, 2010, that random blood and urine testing will be implemented in all of Mayweather's future fights, regardless of the opponent. On February 13, 2010, in an exclusive interview with David Mayo of The Grand Rapids Press, Mayweather said, "I gave him [Pacquiao] a chance, up to 14 days out. But my new terms are all the way up to the fight. They can come get us whenever, all the way up to the fight, random drug test. That's what it is."

    Don't have selective memory please.

De la Hoya would love that because Schaefer is golden boys boy till 2018 according to a contract.

That's a BS response son! He waits for him to be KO'd and now he's getting tested. And you don't call him out. He won't give Marquez 50/50 but you don't call that a roadblock. Arum already shot the Canelo fight down before he announced Algeri, but you don't call him out? Freddie said they could only fight Canelo if he came down to 150 (just like they did to Cotto for a rematch), but you don't call him out. You don't call out the stadiums, the cuts, nothing, but everything is always Floyd's fault. **** Bob Arum, and the entire TR. If I was Floyd, they would never make a dollar off me again in life.

So it wasn't floyd that said it himself that HE gave him the 14 cut off date but pacquiao refues? wow. just wow. blindness at its highest.

Miike Tyson is an HOF fighter. He said he thinks Floyd was scared, but do you know how long Holyfield and Lennox Lewis tried to get a fight with Tyson? Was Tyson scared? Do you know how long Hagler tried to get a fight with Sugar Ray Leonard? A lot of old-timers are pissed because they never held the belts as long, and never made the money Floyd make. They can't believe he got the deal with Showtime, and they wish they had a team that didn't rob them like Arum and Don King were doing for years. There's a lot of haters out there. Look at who the HOFers were fighting at age 37, then holla back!
