Bout time someone called it as it is. I applaud Lampley. Mayweathers done good things for boxing, but he could have easily done so much more and being more fan friendly. I mean its hard to like him, he makes boxing fans frustrated without clear reason.

Gotta draw the line some where.

Lampley should take his own advice. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

That's a cutting edge report right there.

I wouldn't be if I were them. In my opinion HBO are still leagues ahead of Showtime in terms of their production values and analysis. Mayweather has two fights left and then it's probably advantage HBO again.

The HBO blow-by-blow announcer asserted in his final comments on “The Fight Game With Jim Lampley” that there’s no place in boxing for Mayweather’s increasingly boorish behavior and added the sport’s pound-for-pound king couldn’t retire soon enough. Boxing fans and writers have denounced Lampley’s assessment as an agenda-driven attack because Mayweather, once HBO’s flagship fighter, performs exclusively on Showtime as part of a six-fight, 30-month contract he signed with CBS, Showtime’s parent company, in February 2013.

Putting the hilarity of Lampley's comments to the side, his comments are somewhat disturbing. Most people, who have acknowledged their previous wrong, would feel uncomfortable talking about the subject matter; Lampley spoke as though he did know wrong which suggests he doesn't actually acknowledge or care about his previous transgressions.
