If you were a professional boxer.....

Would you fight for the glory and to prove yourself the best against all challengers (Canelo)... or would you be all about the bidness (Quillen, etc...)?
I know it's a brutal sport and the shelf life of a non superstar can be short lived but it seems there's way to many guys that are all about that bidness, that bidness....

    There should be a balance.

Boxers are obviously trying to make a living and will want the best paydays out there, but it's still a sport and most athletes get into a sport with the desire to prove themselves as the best.

So try to fight the best and be properly rewarded for it. It is possible, much as people pretend fighters have to choose one or the other.

There was nothing smart about Quillin's "business move". He just turned down $1.4mil for a TBA opponent. I dont think Quillin has made $1.4mil combined from all his fights thus far.

If knew much about boxing like I do now and depending how talented and strong I am. For example, if I was a ATG in the making () I'd face everyone. If I was average pro, I'd milk my career and give no crap what people think of me.

Canelo and Quillin fight for the same reason. Canelo gets better fights this early in his career because he can help generate more money.

The glory for him isn't fighting Floyd and cotto-its fighting GGG and ward.

Quillin is a puppet. a disgraceful one at that.
