This fight would be a massive letdown. Khan's WW resume consists of Julio Diaz at a CW of 144 and Luis Collazo. He was dropped vs. Diaz in a close fight. If the rumors of Khan-Josesito Lopez are true, this fight would be an abomination. Mayweather needs to fight Pacquiao in May. Khan needs to fight Alexander and Thurman to earn a shot at Floyd for September 2015.

The second part of the post states that he needs to fight someone "more credible" than Jose Lopez, implying he needs to get a big win not only to earn it, but it's for his own good. To answer your question specifically: Nothing.

On a side note, what did Bradley ever do at WW or in general to get a shot at Pacquiao? This whole deserve this and that is all reserved for Khan apparently.

Bradley atleast was an undefeated unified champion at 140...Khan hasn't done jack**** in the last 2 years besides get knocked out and floored by journeymen

Well Pacquiao isn't happening, ever.

Next best WW opponent (excluding Bradley which also isn't happening)... is probably Khan. Thurman also isn't partiularly proven, and just because he has stepped up 7lbs doesn't mean Khan has to start all over. Plus you all know Khan is the far more marketable opponent, which is the real reason he'll get the fight.

I'm just interested in the Khan fight because we havent see FMJ fight anybody with close to Khan's speed in ages and the main vulnerability Khan has - his chin, isn't really an issue against Mayweather.

Definately the right time to be catching Mayweather, he's definately not the same fighter of 3 or 4 years ago.

I'm surprised Danny Garcia doesn't want it though, he should be the favourite if he did. I doubt many of you would be complaining that he hasn't beaten a credible welterweight in that scenario.
