Khan is on point. Pacquiao is an offensive machine and will get to Algieri quite easily.

I'm sure with his height of almost six feet his walk around weight is much higher than pacs.
It doesn't matter what his walk around weight is, it's about what he fights at. There's a reason his trainer has him fighting at Jr. WW all these years. Broner has a higher walk around weight too, but notice how he was destroying people at 130-135, yet when he jumped to 147, he couldn't do much with Paulie, then Maidana destroyed him. He went to 140, and still doesn't look like he did @ 130-135. It not just about "your" weight, but the weight of "your opponent" as well. Even the great Marquez is not as impressive at 147 as he is/was at 135.

I say he does. He is tall with a long reach and good jab.

you could see broner was small for 147, i said it, regardless of the muscle he can put on(the guy lifts weights)

algieri is tall as sht and a move up to welterweight would only improve him physically, there's no doubt, now whether or not he can handle bigger, longer and stronger guys is another thing, but pacquiao is small as hell anyway, definitely little to no bigger than ruslan(height/weight etc), so what are the issues? algieri would physically and strategically be worse off fighting pacquiao at 140, this is an extra advantage if anything

EDIT: it's like fighting the usual 140 lb'ers he fights with small reach and being short except he gets to come in stronger

You may be correct, but I know Manny can handle guys at 147 & 154. I do NOT know if Algeri can, because Algeri has NOT fought at 147. Even Bradley fought Abregu at 147 before Manny @ 147. Maidana had about 4 fights @ 147 before Floyd. Time will tell.

You forgot to mention Floyd didn't even make the contracted weight..the fight doesn't even count to me...if Floyd says catch weights don't count which are agreed upon..htf could not even making the weight count?
k, FLOYD - JMM is old, but what about Danny. . Safe to say he's better than maidana, who lost to khan, who garcia KTFO? And canelo just beat lara, who beat trout, who beat cotto.. so according to you canelo whoops cotto? These theories are pointless in boxing my friend. Styles make fights, PERIOD
