Indeed,I probably would take Broner straight like if I was watching the fight and someone wanted to bet me 100 Soto would win I would take that. For serious betting though yea Soto will look much more appealing because he would be a big dog I am almost certain.

Maidana is not making 140 so that talk is just blowing smoke.

He's putting Matthysse's name out there to look tough but its time to show and prove. Don't name drop pit bulls when Haymon has another poodle lined up for you.

Geez the hate for broner on this forum is real

The guy fought el chino as the smaller man and stood
In the trenches , got up and fought his ass off

And he just fought a solid guy In Emmanuel Taylor who came off a win vs Karim mayfield, the same karim mayfield who needed a bounce back win and has a close win on his resume against Herrera who this forum d1krides because most people thought he beat Danny who you guys hate

              Ridiculous fanboyism and unfair hate

              GTFO

I guess no fighter should ever talk, that would be real exciting

              Bunch of clowns

Maidana II has to happen someday. That was just too much fun to not do again.

Also was Soto horrible on Saturday or something? I only caught a couple of rounds he still looked alright to me. Now he's won 6 in a row or something, former world champ with great skills, hasn't been stopped all that much. I doubt Broner will be able to pull of a Guzman like schooling on Soto, so this should be good action and skill level. Stop taking Broner so serious... he is just a dude on the comeback who remains relatively popular so of course the networks will want his fights. Soto is good opponent for this stage in his comeback

He also called out Guerrero about a year ago, and the Ghost confronted him face to face and talked about them together in the ring. Fight never happened.

Let's see how this one goes.

Like PBP said, don't drop names when you know your not going to fight them. If Broner isn't going to go to Haymon and Golden Boy and force them to make fights with Matthysse or Maidana, name dropping them ahead of Soto or whoever makes him look bad.

Any fighter can speak any name. Doesn't mean much if the effort isn't made to make the fight.
