Kovalev is an awesome fighter but he's never faced anyone like Hopkins he's a totally different opponent than anyone he's ever faced Hopkins on the other hand has faced plenty of hard punchers and knockout artists he'll know just how to handle Kovalev just wait and see.

Hopkins is straight old school ...wants to fight the best And already ...I wish there was more fighter like him in this generation ...2ighter that remind me of those guys is donaire/ thurman IMO

Fighting Hopkins is a lose-lose. You win, you beat up an old man and if you lose, you are a joke and on the wrong side of boxing history.

I think if Kovalev would knock Hopkins out it would be a great win! No one did that to Hopkins before. Can Kovalev do it?

I think Kovalev understands this too. He knows he has a chance to put on a star making performance. Hops has done it all, everything he has accomplished in the last few years has been icing on the cake of an already exceptional career.

Kovalev has everything to gain and everything to lose. I just hope he doesn't freeze up with this.
