Naw, Floyd Sr. Been wanted his son to fight PAC. For whatever reason, the fight hasn't happened. I'm a Floyd fan, but I think both teams are equally to blame. But I wouldn't blame neither trainers (Roach or Mayweather Sr.).

Now that Pacquiao has declined tremendously from his peak(which is still a pretty good level though), they think Jr. has a better shot. I don't disagree. I actually think this fight is more level out now with it slightly favoring Jr.

If this was Pacquiao in his prime though, forget it. Jr. doesn't see the final bell.
IMO Pac's signature fight was the first Barrera fight. Based on level of opponent, I'd say Chico was Floyd's signature night even though IMO the best I've seen him look in the ring was Gatti..You think the Pac from the Barrera fight stops the Floyd from the Chico or Gatti night? I don't. I think it's the other way around.

This fight would have been interesting in 2010. But PAc would have skipped a cycle on his juice to make it happen. But drawing blood makes someone week and negates all the hard work training and skill he posses if blood is taken before a fight. But apparently drawing blood is not an issue with PAC anymore? Im still buying this PPV when and if they fight.

Mayweather Sr, said what he said in that video because it was at the height of all the PED accusations, you all are morons man, anyone can take anything out of context, I understand that, and it's easier when the man speaking is Floyd Mayweather Sr, but anyone with common sense understands the reason he said "He fears for his son's health" is because of the same reason they didn't want Maidana to use those "custom" gloves. Yes, any father would willingly and knowingly let their blood fight a man who they think is on PEDS in a sport as brutal as boxing.......please find another website to make ignorant comments on

Biases aside, there's absolutely no way that you can rate Floyd's win over Gatti and Chico over Pac's win over Barrera's.

Gatti was pretty shot and Chico was never that great to be honest despite his undefeated record at the time he faced Floyd. Barrera on the other hand is a future HOF'er and Pac dismantled him.
