    What was JuanMa's greatest weakness?

Let's put talks of his chin aside for a moment. Would you say his greatest weakness was that he fell in love with his power which in turn would let him brawl thinking he always had a possibility of coming out on top or his coach? And by coach I mean his coach never refined his style and made him more rounded especially in regards to his defense. Perhaps everything could've been different for him had he made a switch to a better trainer.

His lack of defense. He thought he could go blow for blow with everybody and be too much but once he ran into somebody who could take it he had no plan b.

Standing too squared up, something that simplistic...he couldn't get rid of. So his head was a magnet for overhand rights, you almost didn't even need to set it up, it'll land.

Defense. Or lack thereof. Too easy to hit. Feel in love with his power at the lower weights (like Broner) but as he moved up and fought guys who he couldn't faze (Salido) he learned the hard way. And he was chinny.

JUanma is not done. Its all part of Bob Arums plan to let the Megafight between him and Gamboa "Marinate" a while longer.

                He was from Puerto Rico?

                JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING

Dude could ****, I liked him, but like a lot of guys you see in boxing, even many champions, once that jaw was cracked... it never healed. After the Salido fights, anyone that could punch was going to walk through a few shots just to check that chin. He can't take a damn punch anymore, and his defense game was never there.

He had a great little run, glad he's going to call it a day. A Gamboa fight and final payday has got to be tempting, but he should retire. Cuellar landed virtually every single punch he threw a Lopez; Gamboa could seriously hurt him at this point.
