Floyd Mayweather was snubbed by Warren Buffett before his championship fight Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, because the billionaire and his company had issues with the champ, weed and women.

Sources connected to both Mayweather and Buffett tell TMZ ... the mogul had agreed to walk Floyd into the ring ... accompanied by Justin Bieber and Wiz Khalifa. In fact, we're told Buffett was excited to be part of Team Money.

Doing a ring walk with Mayweather would have tarnished Buffett's image in more than one way. Of course, there's the morality issue with Mayweather's lifestyle. Perhaps more of note, the people who usually walk a fighter to the ring are his corner men, family members, friends, bodyguards and nut-huggers. The only categories that Buffett can possibly fit in are friend and nut-hugger. A multi-billionare doesn't need to be labeled as either to Floyd Mayweather. I'm sure even his appearance on "All Access" with Floyd raised some eyebrows.

I don't think it would have tarnished his image. He's very well respected, and also, he is up there in age. Like 84 or so. He was seen on All-Access already, and he gave an interview sitting side by side with Floyd during the PPV right before the fight. And was seen ringside during the course of the fight. This is all national TV. National TV! And yet none of this put a dent on his image.

I think it was more due to personal reasons, like him feeling too old to be doing that.
