Floyd can never be considered TBE, only his worshipers would ever consider such a foolish notion. Seeking out the best opponents and challenges is part of being TBE. Floyd prefers to pick and choose opponents, which is his choice, but it eliminates him from consideration of being TBE.

Mayweather is not undefeated he lost to Castillo the first time, and even if he were undefeated his record is padded and he avoided Pacquiao and others. Marciano fought E. Charles, Jersey Joe Walcott, and even though he was old, Rocky still fought Joe Louis. Mayweather never fought Pacquiao in his prime and Mayweather never fought Mosley or De La Hoya in their prime. Mayweather never fought the best at 140 or 147, and flat out ducked Margarito and Pacquiao. He also backed out of moving up to fight Winky Wright was the top dog at 54'

I agree Floyd is not the best ever. He is not even the best WW ever. Not even close, but yes he is undefeated, yes he is an all time great and still a great fighter with an undeniable skill set and dedication to his craft, yes like alot of other fighters of his era he did avoid alot of the best fights available and most of those that he avoided were other black fighters just like himself, yes he should have made sure that the Manny fight happened years ago and lect no doubt as to who was who or what, yes he is a pompous arrogant jerk at times, yes he went to prison for beating his kid's mother and he makes himself a pariah and a target for criticism due to some of his actions but he has to get credit for his accomplishments versus the guys he fought. No one can fight every one out there especially today. As for Oscar, no way anyone can honestly say Floyd avoided a prime Oscar.When Oscar was in his prime he and Floyd were separated by SEVERAL weight classes and Floyd was not even on Oscar's radar at the time for obvious reasons.

Mayweather could never be the best of his era... he is three divisions and at least two wins over hall of famers behind Pacquiao...

I never heard anything about a potential Winky Kright fight but if it was on the table and Floyd declined, then I have to say that career wise that was probably the smartest thing Floyd and his team ever done other than agreeing to every possible demand made by Oscar to make the Floyd vs Oscar fight happen which catapulted him to super stardom. If he had fought Winky, he probably wouldn't be where he is today.

Although the documents do not disclose revenue also generated from pay-per-view upside, it's extremely doubtful that Pacquiao is getting significantly more than Mayweather in that department, especially considering that they both do similar numbers and in Pacquiao's case, Top Rank retains 27.5%. While I personally believe the subject of a 50/50 split is irrelevant, mainly because Bob Arum was never interested in staging the fight on May 5 to begin with, given those numbers, it's understandable why Mayweather might allegedly inform Pacquiao that a $40 million guarantee would be significantly more money than he's been currently making.

So did it make sense to turn down $40 million? If he won the first fight, as you think he would've, he could have been the "A-Side" for the rematch, and got a better deal (Although Manny says he's still the A-Side when negotiating with Marquez, even after Marquez KO'd him).

Manny should have left him long before last year.

when floyd demanded blood test. every floyd fan believe that once manny agreed it will be 100 percent certain that fight will push thru. now floyd demanded that manny leave arum and floyd's fans is 100 percent certain that if manny complied the fight would certainly be made.
guess what since 2009 floyd has given more than 10 conditions (manny ask for zero conditions.) from fighters relevance to tax issues. floyd should have demanded all those issues in 2009 so it can be resolve one by one. the problem is every 6 months there are new demands.
