Trainer Freddie Trinidad has made it clear that he will refuse to train former two-division world champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez (34-5, 31 KO) for any future fights. Last Thursday Juanma suffered a vicious two round knockout defeat at the hands of WBA interim-featherweight champion Jesus Cuellar. And less than two months before that loss, he was beaten up by Francisco Vargas and stopped in three rounds.

What im surprised is how he was allowed to fight two months after the way he lost in july, that means he didntveven have time to recover well, rest body and then train, all tjose shots to the head even in traing must have some kind of consequences,this was an important fight for him and should have rested properly and trained for a good 6 weeks,i think he went into training too soon after that loss in july and call it training but u still getting hit to the head,getting him an important fight in that time frame wasnt right

Freddie "Parasite Vulture" Trinidad is only saying this because Juanma ALREADY announced he was retiring. The trainer just wants to look compassionate like he actually cares. If Juanma hadnt already retired this piece of trash would be peddling Juanmas blood once again in a heartbeat
