Floyd put on a clinic yesterday. A lesson on how to use your legs and take a punch. Look how good he looked after the fight swollen lip bruises. An all time great marcos may not have had any external damage but I bet he had a broken rib or internal bleeding. Great fight from floyd tho, imagine if clinching was scored wow this fight would be even better for floyd.

I just watched the fight on you tube and I think the clinching Mayweather did is exaggerated somewhat. I expected to see more than I did. He didn't really clinch excessively except for a few of the later rounds. Kell Brook clinched far more against Porter. I didn't think Bayless did a bad job.

But it was not an eventful fight. I would not say Floyd dominated the fight. Maidana landed more of the better shots. I thought Maidana did bite him on the palm part of the glove where there isn't a lot of padding. Although it probably didn't hurt him significantly because there was the mouthguard and some material in between Maidana's mouth and his hand.

But I don't think Floyd fights are PPV worthy now. He can't KO anyone and seeing him feint, move and potshot is not that exciting. I knew it wouldn't be worth it. I think for a 37-year fighter he still is good, but he has lost some of his quickness and reflexes. He's not great.

Showtime got themselves into some deep shyt with their 6 fight deal. Too much money for a non entertaining fighter. This shows you that networks shouldn't go in for multi fight deals in the fight game.

lost a lot of respect for my favorite ref last night...not a single warning for all that holding...people at the fight party actually started mingling and stopped paying attention by the 6th round..it was pretty sad
