    how good is Margarito

Personally I think he is the real deal tough hard punching good hand speed ok defence and he is also ackward which is good. His mental state for every fight is incredible the man has great focus. Honestly what do the people on this board think and why? Can he beat and elite fighter? Is this guy the real deal or is he just workman like. He obviously is not getting over hyped as he has some losses on his record and he just has never had that true fan apeal yet. Can he achieve stardom I hope so I like the man as a person and I enjoy watching him fight.

not very good at all. he is the most over hyped prospect around right now. he is in the most competitive division in the sport right now and he doesnt stand a chance. he loses to hatton floyd, mosley, cotto, etc. etc.

I do not agree and if he were to loose it would be close fights the guy has that grit that will not be beaten attitude that does a lot even agiest top fighters. He is a man that is not going to doughthimself even if he is lossing a fight because the final bell has not rung yet. That myfriend is hard to find in a fighter and shoud be charished when it is discovered kinda like a dimond in the rough

ain't that the truth but ya as an elite maragrito may not have the overall skills but he comes to fight and well and who know if an elite makes a mistake agienst him he does have the power and speed to exploit it.

oh, i think they would be entertaining but think about it, if you were one of the elite guys in the division would you want to fight margarito or would you want to vie for a position to fight one of the other elite guys. i know i wouldnt fight him.

Margarito is no floyd mayweahter Jr, or JC Chavez.

But the man is tough, strong, has pop, and is technically sound enough that the other 147lb fighters avoid him at all costs.

He might beat floyd, he might get blown out of the water, but the man deserves a shot, but they'll probably continue to duck him till he is nothing anymore. Even the elite fighters feel he is a threat otherwise they would have taken him on already.

thats right, he has a chance to beat one of them no matter how slim it is and i think it is very very slim, but there is a chance and its just not worth taking if you are hatton, floyd, mosley, or any of them. they should fight eachother and margarito should move to another less competitive division if he ever wants a chance for a major fight.

thats true but now margorito has enough worth in the fans and promoters eyes that now the fight should be made margorito can make the elites good money his name is out there enough and the latino fans and boxing fans as a whole would pay big gate an ppv fees to see the fight go down because margorito is exciting powwerful and awkward and can give elites trouble if not win and for legacy sake even I think margorito is known enough for what he has done so far the guy is only 27 by the way that 10 years from now people will go ya but he never faught margorito
