Provodnikov has the tighter boxing (although not by much). Maidana has the better feet, but they would be standing toe-to-toe so that's a moot point.

Both are tough but Provodnikov stays disciplined even when his face is mush while Maidana gets a little too reckless when things aren't going his way.

Gotta give it to Ruslan.

I'd pick Provo to out slug and stop maidana late.

Total war, one in which Provo KO's Rios and ruins him for life. He will probably end up never being able to live a functional life after that war.

***EDIT: Not sure why I thought this was about Rios and Provo. I'd pick Ruslan to win against Chino because it would be an inside fight and Ruslan has the shorter, faster punches.

Easy fight for Maidana.

Ruslan won't be able to get away from Chino's bombs, whereas Maidana would.

Maidana has defense -- you never see him lumped up after a 12 round fight.

Ruslan, on the other hand, always gets lumped up.

Chino has foot work, upper body movement, crafty tricks. Provodnikov stands still and does not have good upper body movement. I don't understand why Provo has so many votes.

I give Provo a serious **** at beating him. Maidana has been hurt many times in his career. Even Lopez hurted him in their fight. If I had money to put, would be on Provo. Would be a crazy fight thats for sure.

Ruslan would be favored in this fight, Marcos will have big trouble with this guy for several reasons.

Ruslan throws the tighter compact shots, is shorter, bobs and weaves a lot and hits like a mack truck and can take a punch.

Maidana throws those wide looping shots that work against guys his height or taller who don't bob and weave or duck.

When you have a guy with shorter compact arms who crunches down a lot and throws compact hard hooks inside, that guy will always win the exchanges over a guy who throws wide shots with longer arms.

Could go either way, but Provo's the hungrier fighter and he'll be better conditioned for the fight and will finish stronger.

Watch how fast and compact and powerful ruslans combos are inside, he would be able to land easy on Maidana who has slow winging shots and likes to fight inside as well. Ruslan is one of those fighters who if you trade with him he will always get the better of you, he similar to Manny and he gets away with this because he throws tight compact shots just like Manny when they trade with guys. Short arms reach their target faster when two people exchange and the other guy has longer arms.

Now look at Maidana, very slow and wide open many times he throws that chopping over hand right with his face wide open never put yoru face open with a short arm combo mauler like Ruslan he will land 3 hard punches on you before that right hand drops on him.

Ruslan would win by KO. Why? Maidana is a tough guy and won't back down or run away. He'd welcome an inside fight.
