Just say YES Manny and make the biggest payday of your career .
Let's face it, no matter what the deal is, no matter who dictates what, they will always find an excuse for Manny to duck the fight. From 2009 - now. Anyway, nice win by Mayweather last night although it wasn't pleasant to watch. We'll wait to see what the #'s are. And if it's under a mil the dummies on here will crow (you know, the dummies that are always complaining about others discussing money?) until...those Pacquiao-Algieri #'s come out. And they'll still pretend Pacquiao can dictate anything. And so it goes.

It wasn't even a week, it was LITERALLY the next day the Ellerbe flip-flopping started

ESPN: Floyd Mayweather Vows to Never Work With Golden Boy Again (June 3, 2014)

Floyd Hype: Ellerbe Clarifies Floyd MIGHT Work With GBP Again (June 3, 2014)

Ring: Floyd Mayweather Says He Will Continue Working With Golden Boy (June 16, 2014)

They were all gung ho about striking out on their own until they realized 'oh ****, we don't have the infrastructure or know how to put together an actual PPV card' then went crawling back to Oscar to get him to cut some checks.

But now we're to believe they'll be the lead (or sole) promoter in the biggest cash fight ever?

Floyd is pulling another troll job. Even the people in here defending him must see it, but of course they have to toe the company line. So on and on this farce goes

You mean they had the wherewithal to assess risk and outsource the promotion for a fee? Why those idiots! What was the point of that post exactly?

There is no B-side in that fight lol. Who the **** this idiot thinks pac is? He's no canelo, khan, cotto. He's a mainstream superstar himself. You should be slapped in the face for calling pac a B-side in a fight.

There is nothing wrong with aligning with people, it's the type of people who you shack up with that's the problem. That was the fairly simple premise of the original post as well. Nice try, though.

Of course Marquez had to accept the offer. What was he suppose to do? Cancel the fight? He had no choice.

You're too ****** to continue arguing with.
The commission was informed days before. You don't know the in's and out of what happened, so why are you pretending to. I'm not defending anything. What I do know is that Marquez accepted 600k. 300k per lb, to continue with the fight. He accepted the terms. Now you want to go back and act like that the contract wasn't changed and Floyd came in overweight? Sorry, that ain't what happened. If the same thing happened with Floyd and fighter B, I would've said "you shouldn't have accepted, if you're gonna complain". In fact, Marquez wasn't crying about it, acting like he was screwed and his loss had ANYTHING to do with the extra weight, so why are you?

I'm too ******, yet you are the one that doesn't understand what a contract is, right? Really? He had no choice? What did Corrales do against Castillo? Nothing here ****** but that statement u made.

And I ask again! Who is Pacquiao to ask a weight demand of anyone when he has been over the legal limit OF A WEIGHT CLASS 2X, AND ONCE IN A TITLE FIGHT?

                Stop it son

As soon as it was announced Schaefer was out at GBP, Ellerbe told everyone that Floyd would never work with GB again and they were all set to strike out on their own and promote Floyd's next fight independently. Then in the span of a couple of days, they must've realized that they CLEARLY don't have that ability. That was for a fight against Chino Maidana.

But now you're telling me Floyd is serious when he says Mayweather Promotions, which had to crawl back to Oscar to cut checks and promote the Maidana fight for them, is going to be the lead or even sole promoter in the biggest cash fight ever?

Again, you know they're bull****ting but of course you have to play along like you don't know any better.

It was in relation to the idea - your ****ing idiotic idea - that the most lucrative fight in boxing history should be under the Mayweather Promotions banner. This is really simple stuff. Why are you making people explain basic points again?

Wow you even wanna argue this? Even the most ardent Pac fan would agree that Pac is the B side in this equation....Hell, Arum and Pac would too! So why on earth wouldn't you?
