MGM Grand, Las Vegas - In an earlier article on BoxingScene.com, British superstar Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) explained his reasons for his belief that Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) is no longer the same fighter. Khan sit ringside and watched Mayweather, 37-years-old, win a twelve round unanimous decision over Maidana on Saturday night.

Mayweather plans to return in May, and Khan hopes to become his opponent. Khan is going to have a stay-busy fight in December.

Most of the people who I've watched post or comment about the fight Mayweather had are saying things like "What has Khan did to achieve a fight with Floyd?" "Amir Glass Chin almost got KO'ed by Diaz" "Khan will be stopped against Floyd because his chin is weak"

Folks, Lets keep it real and objective!!! What you've watched as a trend in last Mayweather fights? Flat footed fighters!! jesus you don't see the pattern there?

People need to realize that Floyd will keep his O if he keeps fighting these figters, yet you talk trash about Khan but think about it, When was the last time Floyd fought a guy who was faster than him?

You still want to spend $70 on Floyd moving around the ring and countering or hugging flat footed fighters? just ask yourself that question.

Or you want to see an aging Floyd proving himself against a guy who's legitimally faster than him with an ankward style, yeah Khan has flaws, yeah Khan as a weak chin, yeah Khan doesn't bring the power that Maidana, Canelo bring but Khan brings something that could pose Mayweather a threat and that is alone by itself SPEED!

Pacquiao? of course why not, afterall even thou the fight is not as big as it was before, it's the fight fans want to see (including myself), but really think about it................Khan would be a new puzzle at Floyd's age and it could present a tought puzzle to solve.
