So are you saying Danny Garcia would be a "cherry-pick?"

With most of the GB talent in a stage of limbo, as far as promotional contracts are concerned, Oscar is reaching across the aisle to see if the company can't put some big fights together to re-secure their place as top promotional brand in the sport. In particular, one of the match-up's Oscar would like to put together is Manny Pacquiao vs. Danny Garcia.

"We're going to talk about ending the Cold War between Golden Boy and Top Rank. My objective is to make the big fights," said De La Hoya. "Golden Boy has fighters that can fight Top Rank fighters and who can make great fights. We want to make great, exciting fights that the people want to see, and that's what I want to talk to Bob about."

"You could have Danny Garcia versus Manny Pacquiao. What a fight that would be. That's what I want to talk to Bob about. Danny Garcia versus Manny Pacquiao? Come on," said De La Hoya.

"You would have the young, strong bull versus the not-so-young strong bull in Manny. Those are the types of fights and matches that I want to talk to Bob and see what we can come up with."

Bob Arum has acknowledged De La Hoya's efforts and says he's open to working together to see if the sides cannot work out a marquee fight.

          No.

Does that mean Danny is better than Floyd?

          No.

But Khan would give Floyd more trouble than he did Danny because styles make fights.

Fight will be a closely contested high speed chess match ultimately coming down to conditioning wits anSomrk

          Floyd knows this.

Boxing is about earning a shot. You don't get one because your style supposedly will be the hardest for the champ. That's not how boxing works. Khan has a lot of fighters ahead of him before Mayweather fights him. Pac, Bradley, Garcia, Thurman, Brook and even Porter are way ahead of him. Khan hasn't beaten nobody at 147 since getting KO in the lower weight classes. He should fight Bradley, Porter, Brook, Thurman or Alexander.

After you fight Khan you "won't" be a champion.

Khan Has Proven NOTHING At 147; Beat Up Some Other Than Collapso & J-Lo!

Joseito Lopez (J-Lo more appropriately named), fought 8 lousy rounds against a tomato can from Friday Night Fights. Give me a break, as Khan is considering this fool, who's only claim to fame is he KO'd Victor Ortiz. Big f'n deal. Can't Khan grow a set and call out Thurman, or Guerrero, or Shawn Porter, or Abregu, or Provodnikov, or Tim Bradley, and bring SOMETHING to 147, than trying to do a sell-job on who you beat in 2010 at 140?!!!? F'n popping off at the mouth to land a lottery ticket with Floyd or Manny having done jack to get a shot. Last "names" Khan lined up against he was getting train wrecked by Garcia & Peterson at '40. I'm tired of Khan selling his fast hands & feet of 4 years ago.
