What next? First superman jumps out of the money because of Kovalev, now Quillan back paddles across the Chicago River because of Korobov. Scary Russians.

He wants to spend all this time with his wife and 2 week year old baby and yet he's in Las Vegas this week for the fights.

This is nonsense, here the math:

Al Haymon + Hov + Top Rank= No fight.

Kid Chocalate just said in a video interview yesterday that no on knows who Korobov is, but Danny Jacob will well known.

One of the dumbest moves ever made in the sport. His career high payday coming into this fight 700 k. This guy would of made 1.4million in a very winnable fight all to make his daddy happy. Peter what the hell is wrong with you

When'd he ever make that much? 400k was his max

Quillin should have capitalized big time on Roc Nation's lucrative investment in establishing itself via purse bid. It's not too often that you get market participant that is willing to overpay for a fight. Last time I heard of situation like this was when a wealthy Russian businessman grossly overpaid for the rights to promote Klitschko-Povetkin

I wish somebody would interview Bernard Hopkins on his opinion for this.

Could you imagine guys like Hopkins & Hagler who struggled to get big fights dropping their title belt because their manager didn't want to work with a promoter who won the purse bid?

Oscar has to back him. Quillin is actually signed to Golden Boy I believe, so he won't speak out against him because he probably wants to keep him on the roster for as long as he can.

Either way, it was Haymon who punked into Quillin vacating for his own selfish reasons.

Still shellshocked that he or whoever canceled this...
This was the first Quillin fight I was actually excited for.
